Commissioned to complement the grounding and sophisticated atmosphere of a local retreat center, this series of eight nightstands was designed to bridge the gap between rustic warmth and modern elegance.

To achieve the desired aesthetic, I utilized premium Baltic Birch plywood, finished with a rich walnut stain on the exterior and a sharp, black-painted interior for added depth. The design prioritizes both beauty and durability, featuring dadoed shelving for structural integrity and a clear coat to withstand high-traffic, residential use.
